It isn't Friday the 13th today, or is it?

It's confirmed. The Accord is finished. So sad cos it's really a good car to drive in. I can't imagine riding in the pick-up for the rest of my life here in the US.. no power windows!!, cramped interior, a passenger seat that cannot be reclined, side mirrors that have to be adjusted manually, not forgetting that in order to do that, you will first have to manually wind down the window... urrghhh.



And then there's the other sad thing of the day-- yifan has caught a cold. Coughing and feeling feverish. Poor thing!



Sometimes I can't stand the way things are done here in the US. Yifan will have to drive 2 hours all the way to Massachusetts to see the doctor. Why? Because according to the medical insurance plans here, everyone has to stick to their ONE and ONLY doctor. So poor Yifan has no choice-- either just get some cough syrup from the pharmacy, or pray that his cough goes away on its own. Just in case you think it's his fault for not changing doctors sooner, we just found out that the insurance company only approves changes in doctors once every month, and so we will just have to patiently wait for 1st Feb to come.

Close Shave

Last Friday was a cold and wet day-- raining since early morn. Yifan had just left for work and within minutes, he crashed the Accord. *See Car pics in Gallery*

I was stunned upon receiving his call. Phew! He was okay, but the poor 1 year old Accord...



He's now driving an Ah-Pek pick-up and promoting his company to everyone everywhere he goes.



Pics of the white pick-up to be uploaded soon.. and for guys aka Andy eager to see how MY car looks like, please wait some more cos it's still at the workshop. :-)



And oh, Andy, I have not forgotten about taking pics of my house, but you see, everywhere is still in a mess. But really, I will clean up this weekend and post pics then. Really.
