Pregnancy books talk about how fetal kicks feel like butterflies in the tummy ( but how does it feel to have butterflies in your tummy, may i ask?), and while some people say they feel light tappings on their tummies, I feel strong pushes from underneath my skin.
As for Yifan, he only had one word for his first experience -- AAAHHH!!
People have been telling Yifan that he should watch out becos pregnant women are prone to mood swings, and he's been hearing stories from colleagues about how their wives/girlfriends get bad tempered during those 9 months. So he was really surprised that up until now, I have been really nice and easy-going.
I am grateful that I belong to the minority of pregnant women who do not suffer from the not-so-pleasant effects of pregnancy. I know of women who suffer from bad cravings or food aversions, but Babe has been a really sweet child and I can eat pretty much whatever I like, and whenever I do crave for something bad, my willpower is always able to fight the urge.
Physically, I feel great. I have a big appetite and am eating well, and apart from the frequent trips to the bathroom each night that somewhat disturb my sleep, I can't ask for anything more.
