Tourists in TX

Alvin and family came over from Boston for a visit over the Labor Day weekend. We showed them around Dallas, and explored the Fort Worth Stockyards together. It was fun pretending to be tourists. :-)

We visited Great Wolf Resort. This place is huge! Can you believe that this is all indoors?

For all the sun-worshippers out there, fret not. This one's for you.

This reminds me of Yellowstone Park.

Despite the disappointment we had at the first vineyard, we were undaunted ( well, actually Yifan and I weren't enthusiastic about trawling vineyards in TX. afterall, texas and vineyards don't really go together, but since we had visitors,...) and went to Delaney Winery. This is a much better one, though it is certainly not in the same league as the vineyards in Napa Valley.

While waiting for Alvin and family in the car, we took pictures.

Fort Worth

I actually like Fort Worth. It felt like we were in some country western town.
