I'm at the third and final trimester of my pregnancy, and the reality of it all is slowly kicking in. Less than 3 months to the end of couplehood, and the beginning of our little family. Exciting, and yet a little intimidating at the same time.
You know that this is for real when you feel the little one kicking every now and then, and then you get this little prick on your arm from the glucose test that you go through at the 28th week as further proof ( fingers crossed that I clear the test).
The path towards Motherhood is a bittersweet one. Granted, there is pain, or rather discomfort, from all the blood tests, stress and worry about how the baby is doing, but you also experience this immense happiness that emanates from somewhere deep within. Nothing beats this, and given a chance, I would do this again ( and again and again)!
