Halloween has come and gone.
This year was a quiet one for us. We stayed home watching NBA and surfing the internet; surprisingly no one came trick-or-treating at our door too. It must be because 31 oct fell on a tuesday this year.
I had my first Halloween experience 3 years ago, and I couldn't have celebrated the day ( or rather, night) at a more apt location. The place was Salem, MA, also known as Witch City. That year, everyone was dressed to scare. There were witches, of course, and lots of fairies, and there was even a group of men dressed as The Blue Men Group. ( sidenote: i never understood why people dressed up as fairies and other non-scary characters when it was Halloween. I thought the idea was to look as disgusting and frightening as possible?? That said, I went as some princess from a disney movie, and Yifan was the pimp. hahha. I would have gone as something else if I had more time to plan.) It was loads of fun.
