We had our first Latin dance class this evening with our Puerto Rican instructor. It was so much fun.
Here's a little known fact: Yifan can really shake his booty! When I first got to know him, we always frequented clubs and pubs. He never once got onto the dancefloor, preferring to sip the night away. You can bet I was surprised when I saw him sway his hips side to side along to the salsa music today!
The funniest part of the session was at the beginning when the instructor told us to get into our dancing position (i.e. the man holding the girl). Both of us walked awkwardly towards each other, and just stared not knowing what to do. Of course, we'd watched enough " Dancing With The Stars" to know what the position was like, but we were just too shy. The instructor then asked if we knew each other! Hahah.
