Saw a good friend's wedding pics. So nice. I am envious. There has always been this small part of me wishing that I had also gone for wedding studio/outdoor pics. Not that I really had a choice, though. At that time, Yifan was still in the US, and he wouldn't be able to make back in time to singapore for the photos.

There are photographers here who do wedding photography too. I think it'll be beautiful having wedding pictures taken here, but that will mean I'd have to go source for my wedding dress. It isn't much of a problem finding a nice and affordable one here with stores like David's Bridal. In fact, the other time when we were at the mall, I saw this store selling the most gorgeous wedding dresses, and they were reasonably priced too. I was tempted to go in and try the dresses on. I figured the salespeople wouldn't smell a rat, since we both didn't have our wedding bands on, and we look more like students anyway. If only I am rich, and have a huge house with a huge walk-in closet, I will buy all the nice wedding dresses and keep them as my personal collection, and then every now and then just take a few out to try them on and walk around the house. Hahah. But seriously, one of these days when i really cannot stand it, i think i might walk into the store and request to try on the gowns.

we got tickets for the game between Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets next tuesday. Yippee!!!!! Dun know if we can bring the camera in to take pics. Tickets are very expensive for those front-seating ones. We'll be seated somewhere above and behind, hopefully not too high that i get sick.

I think it'll be quite exciting watching the NBA live, what with all the real-life excitement and frustrations. The only other time i have been to a game of any sort was many years ago in the Black Forest region in Germany, while on holiday with my family, when we watched an ice hockey match. The experience was exhilarating, and i think it was then that i started to like ice hockey and ice-skating.

Inter-college games are a big thing in the US. A few weeks ago, there was a football( american football, mind you) game in Virginia between V-Tech and Miami. It's supposedly a big game, according to Yifan and a friend from Virginia. Of course, I wouldn't know since i am not the least interested in football. But the town of Blacksburg where the game was played was packed with people going for the game, i can imagine it must be very fun. Yifan said when his college had big matches like these, the whole town would be swarmed with visitors from all over, eager to catch the game live at the stadium. * i am envious again and wish i can experience that someday *
