Char Kway Teow

Noodles have never been my kind of food-- I don't like eating noodles, and I have never cooked noodles ( other than instant noodles). But because of Yifan, I made an exception.

Prepared with lots of TLC and sprinkled with unnecessary amounts of self- created pressure, for it is my first time, I came up with this:

sha's very own version of char kway teow

You should see how excited/nervous I was before it all happened. But I'm happy that everything turned out fine, and Yifan loved it! * thanks for being so encouraging, w*

Here's what I used for the dish:
- 500g of rice noodles
- 2 chinese sweet sausages
- a big handful of bean sprouts
- lots of chye sim
- shelled prawns (with tails intact)
- prawn stock
- chives
- dark soy sauce
- light soy sauce
- oyster sauce
- sambal olek
