It’s really weird, but Skylar only ever asks for food/drinks when:
i) Chick-fil-A gives out sample- size peach milkshakes
ii) I have a cup of ice-cold smoothie
iii) We eat frozen yogurt at Yogurtland
iv) I snack on my favorite Milanos
According to Yifan, each time I hear the word “dessert”, my face lights up. Now I wonder if that is really true. Does Skylar see something in my face that signals to him that mommy is eating some good stuff, and that he should wail until he gets to eat it too?
It does seem strange that he has never once whined for my iced tea, nor my nutella-slathered sandwich, and in fact, he generally doesn’t like eating very much, but the minute he sees me with a smoothie, he just has to have it.
Yesterday, I thought I’d satisfy his sweet tooth with a cup of home-made strawberry banana smoothie.
