Yifan and I would have to summon our kiasu powers this Saturday because they are giving out goodie bags on a first-come-first-serve basis. I don't really care about the goodie bag ( although I'm hoping there'll be starflower brand bak kut teh spice packets in it) but I'd be very unhappy if we get there late and miss out on all the good food. No offense to Kit Chan, Hossan Leong and all the other artistes who will be there to perform and entertain, but the food's the draw for me.
Looks like this is going to be yet another food trip. I've already jotted down all the places we HAVE to go... my stomach is going to be so satisfied. After all, the whole point of going on vacations is to nourish the body and soul, isn't it?
p.s. I've not forgotten about the "soul" part of the deal. we're going guggenheim and moma.
