currently reading some materials on photography. i am stuck at the part on F-stop. *confused*

finished up The Undomestic Goddess at B&N yesterday. was about to start on a second book, but yifan showed up.... way too early. didn't he say he would be back at 4pm? it was only 2 then. oh well, i'll just have to wait for another time. sometimes i think the staff at B&N may recognise me since i go there so often. i can't help it. if i could, i would buy the books home to read, but since i finish one book a day, and each book costs at least USD 11, think how much i would have to spend to satisfy my craving. and there aren't public libraries around that i can borrow books from too. sigh. on the positive side, at least i am a neat reader, so the books look brandnew even after i have spent hours on them.

just received a call from the Oklahoma police requesting for USD 15 donations!!! -- supposedly to help children suffering from alcoholism. huh?! i might have donated if i am a citizen and enjoy the privileges of the country such as unemployment benefits, and dun face working visa issues, but since i am not..
