Alter Ego

the whole house is smelling of Pig Trotters in Vinegar. one of my fave dishes. sw will be eating a lot of this come year end. heheh.

i finished Shopaholic Takes Manhattan yesterday, and am halfway thru Sophie Kinsella's latest book, The Undomesticated Goddess. it's another one of those easy reads. there are a zillion books in B & N. i think i will never be able to read them all. in fact, i already have my sights on The Pampered Chef. dun know what kind of book that is, but the title sounds interesting.

B&N was packed with people yesterday. mostly teenagers, and young kids with their mums. i think everyone's busy getting their books for the coming school year. * how exciting*

labor day is in a month's time. right after.. ahem.. my birthday, so we are thinking of going somewhere over the long weekend. i think vegas is almost definitely out. it's way too late to get tix from the mileage. and to purchase them, i think it'll probly cost around $500. not worth at all. a trip down to Pensacola may be possible, however. i checked and it takes about 11 hours to get there. i am keeping my fingers crossed. in any case, i will be very happy spending 2nd sep at Aw Shucks and then enjoying a slice of chocolate cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory. :)
