Alter Ego

i am not a 100% yet. i dun know if i am just being lazy or that i am still feeling the effects of Nyquil, but i feel soooo tired and drowsy.

caught a bit of The Blue Lagoon on tv yesterday afternoon before i dozed off. the medicine i took made me sleepy, and the fact that i was watching a lousy movie didn't help either. i think The Blue Lagoon is way over-rated. no plot, no excitement. nothing. zilch. probably recommended for fans of Brooke Shields and that's about it.

now Vegas Vacation starring Chevy Chase is more my cup of tea. it's hilarious, it's stupid, it's entertaining. it's about the Griswold family and their vacation in, Vegas of course. if you enjoyed the National Lampoon's series, you would not wanna miss this.

i think my next door neighbour just bought a new hi-fi system or something. it's been going on and on for the past few days -- the bass is so loud, it's like my heart pounding.. thud thud thud.

we were thinking of sticking a note on his door to " kindly request that he lower the volume". easier said than done. it's not very neighbourly to do that, and i think it'll be rather awkward too since we live so close to one another. plus, the lease here is not up till year end. sigh! oh well, i'll just have to see how long i can put up with it. in fact, i even contemplated doing the same to him, except we dun have any sound system we can make use of.. anyway, just a thought!
