there was a thunderstorm warning for our area last night. winds were howling at around 70 mph !! luckily there wasnt any rain, although certain areas in texas were pretty badly affected with fallen trees, broken power lines etc.
this morning, surprise surprise-- temperatures were down to the 50s * i am so happy* finally, i am seeing some hint that fall is here. the cold front wun last long, however. :( by sunday, it's gonna be back to the 80s.

i am thinking of letting my tortoise go. he's very temperamental, and hasn't been eating much lately. when it comes to food, he's the fussiest -- only fresh beef will do for him. and he doesnt eat if i leave the food in the container for him. he has to " discover" the meat on his own while taking a walk in the backyard.
