Alter Ego

i am tired now. went out with yifan today, and managed to read a little at Borders. :) yeah, xz, been to quite a number of malls here, basically the same kind of stores everywhere, so the only attraction is the bookstore. i am addicted to it.

tomorrow is laundry day. i always enjoy doing laundry at the local laundromat. it's interesting to see how other people do their laundry-- most are messy and sort out their clothes there, but everyone folds their clothes neatly before heading home. i used to think it was strange, then i realised that the good thing about doing that is that i would know right away if i had left behind a sock or a piece of clothing. and almost everyone goes to the laundromat like they are on some family gathering. husband and wife with their kids in tow. hmm. for me? i go there alone (while yifan is working) and people-watch for the 1 1/2hrs that i spend there each week.
