it's Independence Day today, and there'll be fireworks going on at the Lake. not sure if we will be going yet cos the weather doesn't look too good.
nothing much is happening except that yifan has been trying to change the console in the lexus for the past few hours. the old one looked shitty, this one that he got is way better.

i am thinking of selling my books, so i can buy new ones. it's a pity to have them just lying around, and yet, it's a waste to sell them off at too- low prices. there's a store that buys used books, magazines and CDs etc in Frisco. maybe we can drop by next weekend to check it out, and at the same time, pick up some " new" ones. " New" becos i dun think the store sells brand-new books. www.halfpricebooks.com or maybe i'll get books from Barnes & Noble. i just found out that they have used books for sale too. i should have gotten used ones the last time. anyways, B&N also has lots of books on sale--really cheap.. and they are new, just that " they have slight markings from the publisher". i dun know what that means though. errmm, the books are okay. right?

i checked mapquest and it says pensacola is an 11-hour drive from where i am. i am tempted to go there the next public hol, during the Labour Day weekend in Sept. miami is almost impossible unless we catch a flight there. but i am almost positive that flights would be full then, and we can't use our mileage etc etc.

ooohh, today's xz's first day of work. wonder how her day went. i can imagine she must have felt super-sian, given the long break she had had. well, i think it must have gone pretty well, cos she could still go online while at work. tsk tsk !! ;p updates, pleaseee.

lastly, is this the season for getting pregnant or what? not that i am but sw is, and so is one of yifan's friends. hmm, and i thought there are more babies born in the first half of the year than the later half.
