Alter Ego

very nearly got into an accident just after lunch today. the lights had turned green for me and i was halfway thru the lane when this idiot came speeding across. i would have been dead meat had i not been slower to move off. * i thank my lucky stars for that* i would have honked at the driver but it all happened too fast. i just hope the driver gets some flat tires and a broken windscreen and some faulty air-conditioning in her car. yes, i am pretty sure it was a woman driver. not that i am mean to curse the driver, but that is JUSTICE.

found a singaporean guy living and working in houston. he seems quite friendly from the little messages we exchanged. that's a pleasant change from what we had experienced previously with singaporean girls. those were not very friendly. this guy even suggested that we can meet up sometime. of course, he wasn't talking to me. yifan was the one messaging him, but i found his profile. pity he is quite a distance away, and driving to houston over a regular weekend would be kinda rushed. maybe it would be possible for the Labour Day weekend. anyway, not sure yet.
i'd like to visit Austin though. The Real World Austin is on tv now, and it seems like a nice place to go to. a little like Manhattan with the tall buildings. have to do more research on that. i likee... :)
